SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
Our shipping options are simple and affordable! Let us know if additional shipping options are important to you and we will add them as demand dictates.
- General Information
Minimum online order is $25.00 before shipping and applicable taxes. Only online orders will be accepted.
We ship orders throughout the week with the exception of weekend and holidays. All orders are subject to product availability. Shipping of orders is usually completed within 48 hours. We occasionally will hold an order when out-of-stock items are due in within a week but will advise you of this.
If an item is on back order or not in stock at the time you place your order, you will be notified via email with an estimated availability date. If you wish, we will refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.
You also have the option of waiting for the item to become available, or cancelling it. Our backorder program allows you to purchase items that are currently out of stock, but will be available again. This way, you get to be the first to reserve our best selling items by purchasing them in advance before they arrive. In order to get early access to back order items and reserve them, we need to take payment for the item at the time the order is placed. This means that all back order items in your shopping cart will be charged to your account once you checkout. Shipping and taxes will also be charged at this time, so you won’t have to pay any additional fees later on!
Whenever a back order item is purchased, we will provide you with an estimated shipping date which takes into consideration the time it takes for the item to become available and shipped to us, as well as the time it will take for us to stock the items and process your order. Please be aware that back order dates are estimates and are subject to change. We do our best to notify you about back order items whenever an update is available. If your order consists of both in stock and back order items, we will reserve these items for you and ship your order in full as soon as your back order item(s) arrives. Depending on the length of the estimated arrival date on your back order items, your in-stock items may be shipped out to you first.
We know that patience is a virtue… and sometimes, you just change your mind! You can cancel your back order at anytime, as long as it’s not a custom made or special order item. Simply send an email to email@example.com with your order number or log in to My Account to submit a request. Please note that sending in a request does not automatically cancel your order. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email once it has been processed.
Prices shown are in Canadian dollars but may be viewed in US dollars by choosing this option in the Currency option. All prices are subject to change without notice. All prices, unless otherwise stated, exclude applicable taxes. All Canadian residents must pay HST (13%) or the applicable sales tax for their province. All orders shipped outside Canada are tax exempt from Canadian taxes. Please note: If your country requires an import permit or import license, you are responsible for obtaining them in advance of ordering. We cannot ship to countries which require signed consulate invoices or advance payment of custom duties or tariffs. Tariffs, Duties, Custom Taxes, Excise Taxes, etc. Payment of all import tariffs, import duties, and import taxes (if applicable to your country) are the responsibility of you, the customer (importer).
Peter Larmand Outdoors accepts e-transfers as well as Paypal.
- Delivery Location
Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in Canada and the US. Any shipments outside of Canada and the US are not available at this time but please feel free to contact us for more information.
Certain remote areas within Canada have limited delivery service and this results in a high shipping cost. We are unable to offer our free shipping specials to these areas but do have competitive rates with Canada Post that you can take advantage of. Once we receive your order we will contact you with the shipping surcharge. We apologize in advance for any delays or inconvenience this may cause.
5. Delivery Time
An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within the specified shipping timelines. Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered.

- Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are based on the cost of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simple add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.
Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.

SHIPPING SURCHARGES (charges in addition to the Shipping Rates shown in the table above):
1) Oversize surcharge (typically items over 36″ long – e.g. most Firearms): $7.50 per item
2) Air Stage locations (as defined by Canada Post) surcharge: $30.00 per order
3) Overweight/Large/Bulky Items surcharge: Based on package size and/or weight additional cubing/freight fees may be applicable.
- Tracking Your OrderOnce you have completed your order online, if applicable a tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order has shipped. You can track your package online so be sure to keep your tracking number in a safe place!
- Damaged Items in Transport
If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org
- U.S. ORDERS:
For delivery purposes you must be a U.S. citizen with either a Social Security Number or a Business Tax ID. Orders to the U.S. may be subject to duty, tax and brokerage fees to be paid by the recipient upon delivery – please check with your customs office to determine what these additional costs might be prior to placing an order. As well, additional shipping/freight charges may also apply that are not included in the item price(s) or in the shipping charges displayed in your order details on this website – these additional charges are the buyer’s responsibility and will be added to your total order cost. Depending on the products purchased one of our Customer Service Representatives may contact you to request or provide further information. Deliveries to the U.S. require a physical address – a Post Office Box number cannot be used.

Refund and Return Policy
If you are not satisfied in any way, please return the item(s) for a full refund or exchange less shipping charges. Items returned in accordance with the Guidelines below and accompanied by a receipt will be refunded at the original purchase price, plus applicable sales tax, in the original payment method. Items returned in accordance with the Guidelines below but without a receipt will be processed at the lowest current price, plus applicable sales tax.
Please call to obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise Approval) number prior to returning the item. Please have your invoice/order number available when you call.
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
Shipping charges will not be refunded unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order, or if the product is defective. Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
Underwear, Lingerie, Swimsuits and Base Layers may not be returned due to health considerations.
Sales and Clearance Items are not refundable.
Merchandise must be new (never been used) and in its original carton with all the packing materials, manuals and registration cards. We will not accept dirty, washed or used products.
Other restrictions may apply. Peter Larmand Outdoors reserves the right to limit or decline returns and exchanges.
For items damaged in shipment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org before returning. Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair.
